“For such a time as this...” -Esther 4:14

This fall, Tekoa is meeting the needs of our community through a brand new program called Tekoa Distance Learning Academy.

For over 70 years, Camp Tekoa has served our community through summer programming, weekend retreats, and afterschool care. Now, with the unprecedented circumstances we find ourselves in, we are ready to step up and serve in yet another way. Tekoa Distance Learning Academy will provide a safe, supervised place where your child can participate in virtual learning. Our half day program will allow time for classroom instruction, following your child’s schedule, as well as time for a snack and outdoor activity. Additional enrichment opportunities may be provided as schedules allow. The Academy will be staffed by experienced tutors who can help your child (Rising 1st-8th grade), and all recommended social distancing and safety procedures will be followed. Full details and registration are available at, and questions can be referred to Eleanor Trollinger, at
