Camp Tekoa is celebrating 75 years of ministry in 2024! We have a lot planned, and we would to have as many people celebrate with us as possible.
Freezin' for a Reason
On December 14th we’ll be “Freezin’ for a Reason” and we want YOU to join us!
Our last 75th Anniversary event will be a 7.5K, 1 mile Fun Run, and Polar Plunge. (Plus hot chocolate and cookies)
All ages are welcome, and all proceeds will go to Tekoa’s Hurricane Helene Scholarships. All participants will receive a commemorative tee shirt.
November Alumni Afternoon
Hey, Staff Alums! We would love to see you and your families at camp! Join us on Sunday, November 10 from 2-6 pm for an afternoon of fall fellowship, camp activities, a service project, s'mores, and more! Cost is $10/person (ages 2 and up).

Work Weekend
We held a Work Weekend March 2-3. Volunteers helped us get camp spruced up (trail maintenance, landscaping, painting, etc). It was a great weekend together. We plan to hold this annually the first weekend in March!
75th Celebration
The last weekend in April, over 300 people gathered to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Camp Tekoa! There were current and former staff, campers, retreat attendees, and Barnabas campers. Every decade of camp was represented, including two campers from 1949. There was ziplining, climbing, swimming, swamp canoeing, s'more making, song singing, and a very special Candlelight around the lake. Old friends had a chance to reconnect, new friendships were formed, and many new tee shirts were purchased.
