Thank you for your interest in our Afterschool Program. Registration for the 2024-25
school year is open. We currently provide pick up at the following schools daily,
including early release days for the Flex and Traditional calendar schools.
- Hendersonville Elementary
- Bruce Drysdale School
- Atkinson Elementary
- The Mountain Community School
- Flat Rock Middle School
- Hendersonville Middle School
We pick up from each of these schools daily and follow each of the school calendars. Our cost is $15/day for the first camper and $12/day for siblings. The registration fee is $30 for the school year. We provide snack, outdoor free play, a scheduled activity, and a kids choice activity each day. Some days we are together as one large group, other days we divide into age groups for different activities.
Alicia, our director, has been with Tekoa since 2015 and has nearly 20 years of
experience in afterschool and summer camp. Morgan, our supervisor, has grown up
with Tekoa starting as a camper in the early 2000s. Both have master’s degrees from
Clemson University (Go Tigers!). Together they lead a staff made up of mostly
afterschool alumni who are familiar with the program, love Tekoa, and are excited to be
a part of the ministry and mentorship that has shaped them over the years.
To Register, click the link at the bottom of the page to register. Select the Afterschool
Registration option. Once registered in our main system, you will receive information on how to sign up for our bus list and our attendance and billing system, Brightwheel. Each weekend you will submitt a google form and select the days for the week that your child will ride our bus to camp from school. On Saturday, you’ll be emailed an invoice for the past week. Payments are due the following Friday. You can also set up automatic
billing with a credit card.
