Ultimate Challenge (High School)
Ultimate Challenge brings out the best in every camper! Ultimate Challenge is a non-stop, fun-filled week where high school campers participate in a variety of water, rock, rope and trail activities. Campers begin the week getting to know one another while they tube down the headwaters of the French Broad River. After returning to camp, their evening is filled with instruction and preparation for their next three-day/two-night backpacking trip in Pisgah National Forest. Once campers return from the trail they will attempt Tekoa's high ropes course and big zipline. This time spent off the ground will help prepare the campers for one final day in Pisgah National Forest, rock climbing at Looking Glass rock. Campers must be in good physical shape to backpack aprox. 5-7 miles per day on the backpacking trip. Campers will sleep in a covered shelter while they are at camp.
